This homemade delicious side dish is a no fail, simple recipe. I leave in the seeds and membranes of the jalapenos for more heat but if you prefer less spice, remove them.

1cup flour
2/3cupwhite sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 8x8 inch baking dish
In a large bowl stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Pour in the vegetable oil, melted butter, honey, beaten eggs and milk until combined. Stir in diced jalapenos
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, until the top of the corn bread starts to brown and show cracks
