Why pay a fortune for truffles when you can easily make them at home with only a few ingredients. Substitute vanilla extract with any flavored extract of choice (almond, orange, strawberry, etc.) I usually double the batch and make 2 different flavored truffles. Try this recipe; you won't be disappointed!

Ingredients
18 oz package cream cheesesoftened
2cupschocolate chips melted
2cupsconfectioners sugar
1 1/2tspvanilla extractor extract of choice
1pound chocolate almond bark
Instructions
In large bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in confectioners sugar gradually until combined
Blend in melted chocolate and extract until well combined and no streaks remain
Refrigerate mixture for about an hour
Line baking sheet with wax paper. Remove mixture from refrigerator and shape into 1 inch balls and place on lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
Melt chocolate almond bark according to package directions. Using a fork, roll truffles into melted almond bark and coat completely, drain off excess and place on wax paper lined baking sheet until almond bark hardens completely
Place finished truffles into covered container and store at room temperature
