118.4 ozpackage chocolate brownie mixmay use your own chocolate brownie mix enough for 8x8 inch pan
13.9 ozpackage instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2cupwater
114 ozcan sweetened condensed milk
21/2cups heavy creamdivided
3tbspwhite sugar
1/2tspvanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare brownie mix according to package or prepare own recipe. Cool completely and cut into 1 inch squares
In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth and set aside
In a separate bowl using electric hand mixer or stand mixer with whisk attachment, whip 1 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold in whipped topping into pudding mixture until no streaks remain
In a large bowl using electric hand mixer or stand mixer with whisk attachment, whip remaining 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, white sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
In a trifle bowl or large glass bowl, place half the brownies, then half the pudding mixture, and then half the whipped topping. Repeat layers. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight before serving for best results
Notes
You can substitute ingredients to suit your taste using this recipe. Add caramel and/or heath toffee bits to each layer for extra richness. Instead of chocolate, use blonde brownies and vanilla pudding.
