Bread Machine Brioche

I let the bread machine do the work for this Brioche recipe. This delicious homemade bread is perfect to use for French Toast. Try my favorite French Toast Recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 8 tbsp butter softened

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients except for the butter to your bread machine as suggested by the manufacturer. Process on the basic bread cycle with light crust
  • About 10 minutes before the end of first kneading cycle add the butter 1 tbsp at a time allowing each tbsp to incorporate into dough before adding the next
  • After bread is baked, allow the bread to cool in the opened machine for 25 minutes then remove from pan
