Improve the food you create in the kitchen
I started off cooking with very little in my kitchen. I was still able to make decent food but it definitely could use some improvement. Over the years, I have acquired several different cooking appliances and gadgets that have significantly improved the efficiency and quality of the food I make. I believe these products will boost anyone’s performance in the kitchen and will impress your family and friends with the food you serve.
I can’t tell you how many times this food processor has come in handy and saved me a lot of time. It chops, shreds, slices, and purees your food in no time at all. I use it frequently to crumble cookies and crackers for pie crusts and quickly shred vegetables. I have an older model Kitchen Aid processor that is a little difficult to change out blades and cutters and a bit of a pain to clean but this newer model is very user friendly. It’s so easy to use with a one-click, twist-free bowl assembly with a latched lid for easy set up. This processor always has a place on my counter and is a staple in my kitchen.
What can I say about my blender? I have been using this blender at least once a day for about a year and it still works as good as the first day I got it. Do your research; some blender motors can burn up quickly if you use it daily like I do. This blender crushes ice in seconds and blends almost anything to a smooth consistency every time. It has five speed settings and some other handy preset settings such as icy drinks and smoothies. Not only do I use this to make drinks, I also use it to make dressings, sauces, batters, salsas, and soups.
In my opinion, this is a must have in any kitchen because it is a cooking powerhouse and they last forever. A well seasoned cast iron pan is one of the most versatile pans one could have. I can cook almost anything in my cast iron skillet! Did I mention it can be used as a baking pan? Try cornbread or even a chocolate chip skillet cookie in this pan and you will be amazed. This pan is able to sustain heat up to 600 degrees F. Some may think caring for cast iron cookware can be complicated but is is fairly simple. After hand washing your cookware, simply place it on a burner for a few minutes to dry and then rub on a thin layer of the cooking oil of your choice. For a very reasonable price, a cast iron skillet will be your favorite life long cooking machine that can be passed down for generations!
This unique blend of Cajun spices is a seasoning I frequently use in my kitchen. This mix is not to spicy but full of flavor. You can use this seasoning on practically any dish! I use it as a rub for smoking, grilling, and frying. I also use it to season my veggies and potatoes. Of course, I use it when I make classic Cajun dishes such as jambalaya, gumbo, etouffee, and shrimp. I always have an extra container of Slap Yo Mama to assure I never am without it!
I’ve had my Kitchen Supreme French Press for several years and it has a special place on my counter. When I want a smooth, rich, flavorful cup of coffee I use my French press. To be honest, I do use my automatic drip coffee maker most mornings before I’m off to work just for the convenience, but when I can, I take the extra step to boil water in my kettle and use my French press. Try a fresh hot cup of coffee brewed in a French press and taste the difference!
These Glass pocket flasks are great for homemade vanilla extract, salad dressings, and infused oils.
